Get ready to meet Nubians who speak their own languages and have specific traditions that are different from the rest of Egypt. One of their beliefs that they thought the crocodile body hanging over the house door can protect its people from the evil eye and that is why you will find crocodile mummified bodies all over the village’s doors.
You could also indulge in shopping at the local market-roasted nuts, trinkets, Nubians dolls; clothing and souvenirs are up for grabs. If walking is not your style, you can try the camel ride the market instead.
